The winemaker dinner is being held on Thursday, February 9th in our breathtaking Waterfront Room from 630pm-930pm. Commentary will be provided by renowned Winemaker Mario Monticelli of Trinchero Napa Valley. Executive Chef Keith has carefully selected the perfect wines for each of the 5 courses. Combining their talents will make this a certain culinary success.

SUGGESTED ROUTES TO JACKSON’S BISTRO (PLATT STREET BRIDGE CLOSURE)

BRIDGE SET TO RE-OPEN ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 17TH!!

Route 1—From Kennedy Blvd.Head East on Kennedy Blvd. to Ashley Drive.  Turn right on Ashley Drive and make a left on Whiting.  Go under the Tampa St light to Franklin St and make a right. Cross the small bridge Jackson’s will be on your right.

Route 2—From Bayshore Blvd. (south of Howard Ave.)Turn Left Howard Avenue to Kennedy Blvd.  Turn right on Kennedy Blvd.  Head East on Kennedy Blvd. to Ashley Drive.  Turn right on Ashley Drive and make a left on Whiting.  Go under the Tampa St light to Franklin St and make a right. Cross the small bridge-Jackson’s will be on your right.

Route 3—From I-275 (headed Northbound)Get off at the Downtown Exit and stay to your right at the first split.  At the second split, stay to the right and take Ashley Drive.  Follow Ashley Drive through downtown and make a left on Whiting.  Go under the Tampa St light to Franklin St and make a right. Cross the small bridge-Jackson’s will be on your right.

Beginning October 1st, the bridge will be closed completely for approximately 105 days. The full project is expected to be completed by Spring 2012.

Construction Project
A complete rehabilitation of the Bridge is required as it has outlived its normal useful life span and needs to be upgraded to current standards. The major repairs include the reconditioning/replacement of mechanical bridge elements, replacement of the electrical bridge control system, replacement of the bridge roadway deck grating, structural concrete and steel repairs, painting of the bridge structure, and tender house repairs.

The new special event menu showcases all day meeting packages, breakfast, brunch, appetizers, lunch and dinner buffet and plated, cocktail receptions, and bar packaging.

BBQ Duck Sliders, Blue Point Oysters Rockefeller, Tuna Tartar Shooters are among the featured appetizers.  Entrees that include Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Wild Mushroom Chicken Marsala, Grouper stacked with Crabmeat, and Lobster Pasta. Traditional favorites such as Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Seared Atlantic Salmon, and Vegetable Rollatine for vegetarian preferences.
